David’s work can currently be seen in the Broadway revival of Of Mice And Men, starring James Franco and Chris O’Dowd. He first came to national prominence with his score for Broadway’s August: Osage County, winner of 5 Tony Awards including best play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  He has become an in-demand composer for film and television, scoring projects for clients as diverse as Google, IDEO, Scion/The Daily Swarm, NRDC (with Robert Redford), The Democratic Party, American Cancer Society, Sears, Belk and GrubHub, among many others. His score for Steppenwolf Theatre’s production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award.

For many years, David Singer has been a fixture in independent music, winning fans the world over with his smart, literate songs. Over the course of four solo LPs and hundreds of shows around the world, he has carved out his own unique identity as a songwriter and a storyteller.
